Rocksteady! Thursday 18th January

The children and staff were treated to a Rock concert on Thursday, courtesy of a Music School called Rocksteady. Jacob showed us all the various instruments that would be used in a Rock band; electric guitar, drums, electric keyboard and electric bass guitar and some of the children even had a chance to become part of 'the band'. Children all took home a letter to sign up to weekly lessons in School. We look forward to seeing some budding musicians taking up the opportunity!

This page contains information and media showcasing the amazing things that we are achieving beyond the curriculum.
Thursday 21st October - 'Wear it Red Day'

Today was 'Wear it Red Day' in school to raise awareness for 'Dyslexia Awareness Month'. The children were invited to wear Red to school and make a contribution for the British Dyslexia Foundation. In our classes, we explored what dyslexia was and completed some 'Red' activities to celebrate this day. Take a look below at some of the things we got up to in school:

Good Shepherd Mass at Leeds Cathedral -Thursday 21st October

This morning, our Mini Vinnies and 5SC went to Leeds Cathedral for the Good Shepherrd Mass with Bishop Marcus. Our Mini Vinnies were able to tell Bishop Marcus all about the fundraising we had completed last year and had over the money we had raised. Our school was one of the few schools selected to sing throughout the Mass, in which they sang beautifully.
