"In the light of Christ, where everyone is valued and learning is celebrated"

Meet the Staff

My name is Mrs Morland and I have been a teacher for 19 years; 16 of those have been at St. Philip's. I have taught lots of brothers, sisters, cousins and even some of the adults who now work in our school!

I have taught from Nursery right to Year Six but Key Stage One is where I have spent most of my time. I love teaching, I wouldn't want to do anything else, as everyday is an adventure and we all learn together.

My wonderful family and my friends are what is most important to me and I make sure that I spend as much time as I can with them. At weekends and in the holidays, you will either find me climbing a hill or paddling in the sea as walking and visiting the seaside are two of my favourite things to do. Eating ice cream is another!

My name is Miss Cmil. Can you guess where I am from? Listen carefully to my accent and that will give you a clue!

I have two great passions in my life. The first is education which I share with everyone I work with here at St. Philip's whether that is as a teaching assistant or in the after school club. The second is music and I particularly enjoy playing the piano.

My name is Ms Spence and I have been a teaching assistant for over 20 years now. I love my job and working with children.

I have four children of my own  and two grandchildren which keep me very busy!

In any spare time I have, I am a hairdresser and a dance teacher.

I am really looking forward to working in Year One this year and seeing what amazing things they can achieve.

My name is Mrs Shea and you will always find me with a smile on my face and usually singing! I have been a teaching assistant here at St. Philip's for over 10 years.

I spend a lot of my time in Year 6 but I am very fortunate to work with lots of different classes. One of these is Year One where I teach science on Monday afternoons.

Making memories with my friends and my family, including my three children, is very important to me. I also enjoy going for long walks, boxercise and listening to music.
