St Philip's Catholic Primary and Nursery School

"In the light of Christ, where everyone is valued and learning is celebrated"

Meet the Staff

Mrs Morland is the class teacher and we are lucky to have two wonderful teaching assistants as well.

Mrs Watt is with us all day, every day and Miss Shea is with us every morning.

My name is Mrs Morland and I have been a teacher for 19 years; 16 of those have been at St. Philip's. I have taught lots of brothers, sisters, cousins and even some of the adults who now work in our school!

I have taught from Nursery right to Year Six but Key Stage One is where I have spent most of my time. I love teaching, I wouldn't want to do anything else, as everyday is an adventure and we all learn together.

My wonderful family and my friends are what is most important to me and I make sure that I spend as much time as I can with them. At weekends and in the holidays, you will either find me climbing a hill or paddling in the sea as walking and visiting the seaside are two of my favourite things to do. Eating ice cream is another!

Mrs Watt

My name is Miss Shea. I enjoy working alongside all of the children in Year One, helping them to extend their learning and achieve their full potential.

In my spare time, I enjoy being active and going on long walks with my dog. I also enjoy taking trips to the seaside and adventuring. I take time and pride in everything that I do and keep a positive mindset to help the children keep a positive mindset themselves.
