We had a fantastic visit to Eden Camp today and learnt lots of interesting facts about our new History topic, World War 2. We were able to explore all the different huts which brought WW2 to life. From sitting inside an Anderson Shelter to experiencing the streets during a WW2 blackout, we were able to imagine what it would be like to live through the notorious WW2.
What better way to celebrate the end of term with a Reception buddy PARTY!! We had so much fun dancing and playing games with our buddies :) We cant wait for our next activity together!
Today was 'Wear it Red Day' in school to help raise awareness for 'Dyslexia Awareness Month'. During this day, we have all worn red to school, explored what dyslexia is and completed some activities relating to the colour red to raise a profile on Dyslexia. In Year 6, we made our own red cheesecakes and created poster explaining Dyslexia.
