A letter to Mr Bear

Today we found a mysterious letter posted under our classroom door! When we opened it we saw it was from Mr Bear from the ‘Peace at Last’ story. He set us a challenge to make him a tasty snack he could make for when he cannot get to sleep. We decided to make him some marmalade sandwiches as all the bears we know such as Paddington Bear love them.

We read each instruction carefully so we didn’t make a sticky mess. We are going to post the sandwiches to Mr Bear and we hope that he likes them.

Sounds of School

This week are reading a poem called Sounds of School by Michaela Morgan and we have learnt lots of new verbs. We are really enjoying putting sound effects and actions to each line in each verse!
Today, Mrs Morland set us a challenge to learn the poem off by heart. As it is quite long, we decided to work together in groups to learn a verse each. We used all our sound effects and actions helped us to remember the words.
