Pirate Day! 23.6.21
The Rainbow Factory came to Nursery to deliver a fun-filled Pirate Day for us! A real Pirate arrived and asked if we were brave enough to join him on his adventure! We started the day learning some pirate songs and actions. We chose a pirate name drew ourselves as pirates. We also designed our very own parrot! In the afternoon, we learnt how to use swords- that was so much fun! We tested our survival skills on the obstacle course and 'swimming' skills while moving around with the sea creatures. Later on, it was time to make our own pirate maps by ripping our paper and using tea bags to make it look old. We also made salt dough pirates and mermaids- they looked great! To end our busy day, we investigates lots of interesting objects and sang our pirate song again. There was also an amazing surprise which made us very excited- take a look at our pictures! We had such an amazing day full of exciting experiences that we will remember for a long time!
